This is the best piece of graphic design I’ve ever seen.

“This text has no other purpose than to terrify those who are afraid of the Arabic language.“
this reminds me of this guy who i went to college with, we studied graphic design and part of our course is to research other artists and make commentary on their work
i took a look in his sketchbook one day at an exhibition and came across a page where he was researching Shirin Neshat, and his annotation was all like “i’m not sure what this arabic text means, but the arabic text combined with the gun makes me feel like this is anti-west and promoting terror. very ominous and disturbing.” or some shit like that.
Shirin Neshat is Iranian. the text in her work is farsi, not arabic.
The History of Typography
Hamilton-based vlogger Ben Barrett-Forrest has created a animated video that explains the history of typography.
It’s not everyday that I learn something new about type.
I’ve posted this before but it’s worth reblogging!
Just a reminder - if you’re drawing a team superhero book and more than one of your characters has the same build YOU’RE DOING IT ALL WRONG
Always reblog
This is excellent.

2. Dutch landrace (looks like the kind of goat that would be possessed by Satan in a horror film)

3. Valais blackneck (look at that gradient!)

4. Irish goat (just a real good classic goat)

5. gulabi (if a blobfish were a mammal)
